A dynamic and innovative agricultural cluster
Our mission is to support the transformation and innovation of farming through quality products and services, driving sustainable and responsible growth with a stronger and closer integration of agribusiness stakeholders
The Austrian Agricultural Cluster (AAC) is the export-oriented Association of the most innovative Austrian producers of agricultural, food processing and renewable energy technologies.
The company cluster was founded in 1999, within the Export Promotion Program of the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management and of the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce. Ever since we have been working in close collaboration with these organisations.
The cooperation with the Delegations and regional offices of the European Union and the associated memberships of Universities and Federal Agricultural Institutes for Rsearch, Education and Economics, enables a broad platform of scientific knowledge and practice-oriented solutions.
“The Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management has supported the AAC from its foundation within the Export Promotion Programme until today. I am pleased to assure you that we will continue to collaborate and foster these crucial developments toward the innovative and transformative potential in the field of agricultural technologies.”
Austrian Federal Minister for Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management
“In today’s world, the security of supply with food and renewable energy is as important as hardly any other aspect of our society. Accounting for a significant percentage of total Austrian exports, agriculture is a key driver for Austria’s economy. It is vital to ensure the continued success of agriculture and the competitive edge in agricultural trade and services in our globalized world with all its international correlations and dependencies as well as its market-led economy.
Since 1999, the Austrian Agricultural Cluster (AAC) has continuously contributed to these goals. It has brought together the most innovative companies providing technology for agriculture, food processing and renewable energy, and has successfully promoted exports and integration in international markets. In this way, it has become a platform of extensive scientific knowledge and practice-oriented solutions, supporting the transformation of farming through innovative high-quality products and services.”
