Agriculture is constantly confronted with a great number of challenges: World population growth, climate change, severe price fluctuations, but also the global economic crisis and unstable financial markets leave their marks.

Coping with these challenges requires joint efforts; innovation and the targeted use of synergies can open op new possibilities and market opportunities.

By combining the major Austrian producers of agricultural and food technologies, including input, to an export cooperation, the Austrian Agricultural Cluster (AAC) has shown for many years how such cooperation activities can be successful and how synergy benefits can be maximized.

The continuous growth strengthens Europe's security, the peace in its regions, economic growth, and political power.

I would like to thank AAC for the great contribution it has made in this field and assure its members of my best support.
